Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Conejo Woodworks (“we,” “us”) collects through conejowoodworks.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We’re a small, local cabinet shop, so we’ve kept it short.

Information you give us

The quote form. When you request a quote, the form asks for:

• First and last name (required)
• Email address (required)
• Phone number (optional)
• Type of project, chosen from a list (required)
• A description of your project (optional)

We use this to reply to you, talk through your project, prepare an estimate and, if you hire us, plan and manage the work.

Calls and emails. If you call or email us, we receive your phone number or email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it the same way.

Information collected automatically

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use our site. It collects information such as the pages you view, how you got here (for example, from a search engine or another website), your approximate location (city or region, estimated from your IP address), your device, browser, screen size and language, and how you use the page. That includes scrolling, which buttons and links you click (such as our phone number, email, map or social media links), which gallery photos you open, whether you start the quote form, and whether a quote request was sent successfully, along with the type of project you picked. We never send Google your name, email address, phone number or message.

Cookies. Google Analytics uses cookies (small files stored by your browser, named _ga and _ga_3TYVBBBYTT) to count visits and recognize returning visitors. Our site doesn’t set any other cookies of its own, and we don’t use cookies for advertising.

Spam protection on the quote form. When you open the quote form, it loads hCaptcha, the “I am human” check, to keep out spam bots. hCaptcha may collect information about your device and browser and how you interact with the page, and may use cookies. See the hCaptcha Privacy Policy.

Server logs. Like most websites, our web host (GoDaddy) may automatically keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, for security and to keep the site running.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the services that run our website:

• web3forms, the form service that delivers quote requests to our email inbox. It processes your submission on our behalf and, under its own policy, may keep a copy for a limited time and check it for spam. See the web3forms Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics, as described above. Learn how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
• hCaptcha, for spam protection on the quote form, as described above.
• GoDaddy, our website host.

We may also share information if the law requires it.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. Our site has no advertising or remarketing tags.

Your choices

• Opt out of Google Analytics. Install Google’s free Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
• Skip the form. The quote form is optional. You can always call us at (805) 768-4604 instead.

Do Not Track. Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. Our site doesn’t currently respond to Do Not Track signals, and Google Analytics works the same way whether or not one is sent. To limit tracking, use the opt-out add-on or your browser’s cookie settings.

Reviewing, correcting or deleting your information

You can ask us to show you the personal information we have from you, correct it, or delete it. Just email us at info [at] ConejoWoodworks.com or call (805) 768-4604. We may need to confirm it’s really you, and we may keep information the law requires us to keep. Google Analytics data isn’t linked to your name, so we can’t look it up that way, but you can use the opt-out above to stop future collection.

Links to other websites

Our site links to other websites, such as Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook and Birdeye. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and we’re not responsible for how they handle your information.

Security

Our site and quote form use an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send sensitive information such as financial or account details through the form.

Children’s privacy

Our site is meant for adults planning home projects. It isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top.
